Made hamburgers for 3 ladies last night. By their instructions/desires, there was bacon INSIDE and ON TOP OF the burgers. Dainty lasses, they are not. Hell yeah.

Meat pies! Just a mixture of sautéed veggies and ground beef, wrapped up in some basic biscuit dough. Baked until awesome.

STEAK!!! First thing made on my new grill. This pic doesn’t really show it, but I’m trying to really eat smaller portions of higher quality meat. One steak fed two people.

Trout stuffed with lime, rosemary, garlic, shallots. Surrounded by potatoes with olive oil and a dusting of a new spice mix I’ve been making. (Chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, rosemary salt, pepper.) I broiled it until done.

I got  3 lbs of chuck roast and 3/4 lbs of bacon. I ran it through the meat grinder and added some seasonings… Worcestershire, salt, pepper, chili & garlic powder, oregano, etc. Then I made some awesome hamburgers. The leftover handful went with tomato sauce over pasta later for lunch. I’m eating it now.

Stir fried veggies and beef over quinoa. I wish I’d taken pics of the piles of veggie ingredients. They were more photogenic than the end result, I think. Onions, carrots, cauliflower, orange bell pepper, asparagus, cauliflower, garlic… Some other stuff…
